Available parking spots are full for Fall 2024.
This application will reopen on January 2, 2025, for the Winter 2025.
All students are directed to follow the standard procedures established by Transportation Services to request parking for the term. Students may contact Transportation Services for questions about that process. Students may request a parking exemption for the reasons outlined on the Transportation Services website.
Case Management Services works with students who are in distress due to complications with which they are coping during their academic career. We know that parking is a limited resource that can be difficult to secure and may be a significant need for some students. When parking is considered essential to managing a student’s crisis then they may qualify to get a temporary need based parking space for the current term in which they’re enrolled. Examples of needs include the following:
A safety concern resulting from a recent incident that has on-going implications for personal security.
- Temporary impact to a student’s health requiring immediate and fluid access between the campus and treatment.
- Timely access to basic needs such as food and/or goods available at UCLA.
- Significant care giver responsibilities that require on-going, regular travel to meet the needs of a vulnerable or dependent loved one whose health or safety may be compromised.
General requests for parking for a reason not listed above are likely not to be granted due to the high volume of requests and limited resources. Students who have already received Temporary Need Based Parking for two quarters (consecutively or otherwise) may not be considered as to create opportunities for other students to receive this resource. Students who have a disability based need for parking may explore the Center for Accessible Education website for guidance.
When completing the form below, please keep in mind that Case Management Services is required to report incidents of child or elderly abuse, and are required to follow the responsible employee mandate for sexual violence and sexual harassment. The CARE Advocate program is a confidential resource that can assist students who are requesting parking due to a situation involving sexual violence or sexual harassment.
